ZEEBEE HAT

Finally, a different take on making a hat. This one is knitted flat, in garter stitch and uses a crochet chain cast on, short rows and garter stitch grafting. The pattern is generated online using your stitch and row gauge. Any size of yarn will work; you just have to make a swatch before the class starts.
Date: Thursdays, September 3, 10
Time: 6:00pm-8:00pm
Fee: $44.00 plus materials
Instructor: Meg Smith

HELENA BABY SWEATER

From the description on Knitty.com:
“This pretty little sweater-dress is knit using top-down raglan construction for minimal finishing. Using a hand-dyed semi-solid yarn allows for some color variation without obscuring the lacy “skirt” pattern. The tie closures were actually an afterthought, when I couldn’t find the perfect buttons, but they add charm and interest to the bodice portion of the sweater. If you prefer buttons, it would be easy to add buttonholes in the middle row of the placket. “
Date: Thursdays, September 10, 17, 24
Time: 6:00pm-8:00pm
Fee: $66.00 plus materials
Instructor: Jolene Meurer

MEDITATIVE KNIT OR CROCHET

Knitting is a really fine way to clear one’s mind. This workshop will be about filling your project with peaceful thoughts. There will be a minimum of talking and a maximum of peacefulness. A prayer shawl is a good choice of project but any project is okay. If you want to donate a shawl it will be gratefully accepted. We are in the process of finding a group to donate to.
Date: Friday, September 11
Time: 6:00pm - 7:00pm
Fee: $11.00 plus materials
Instructor: Sara Peters

GREEN BEAD SOUP BRACELET

A unique jewelry statement, this chunky bracelet is made using a single crochet stitch, the easiest crochet stitch out there. You will need at least 400 beads of mixed sizes and textures. Meg says “Fun, fun, fun! More beads!”
Date: Saturday, September 12
Time: 9:00am - 11:00am
Fee: $22.00 plus materials
Instructor: Meg Smith

WATCHFUL CHAOS SOCKS

Cables and lace! What could be better? In a sock, that’s what could be better. This sock uses a two-stitch cable no cable needle is needed. (Say that 3 times fast.) This is a lovely intermediate project. The class is set to get you through the beginning up to the heel and it is expected that you will know how to finish up on your own. As always, we are here for any follow up help you may need. You may use double point needles or magic loop for this sock.
Date: Saturday, September 12, 19
Time: 11:30am - 1:30pm
Fee: $44.00 plus materials
Instructor: Jolene Meurer

JUST ENOUGH RUFFLES SCARF

From Laura Chau, “A fun, quick-knitting scarf with just enough ruffle, perfect for showing off super soft yarns and handspuns! This scarf is shaped with short rows and gently curves towards the ends - perfect for wrapping around your neck with not too much bulk. Keep warm with a nice merino wool, or make it lighter in silk or cotton. Any way you work it, this scarf is just enough!”
Date: Tuesdays, September 15, 22
Time: 6:00pm-8:00pm
Fee: $44.00 plus materials
Instructor: Meg Smith
