Beginning Knitting Class

I am teaching a Beginning Knitting class starting tomorrow, Wednesday, September 8, from 10am to 12noon. I will have some supplies with me since this is such late notice.

Come see what all the knitting excitement is about! This is a two-part class in which you will learn to cast on, knit, purl and bind off. If you have taken the class before and feel that you need a refresher, come and join us again. You will need to come to class with knitting needles, size 9 or 10 in straight or circular and 200 yards of worsted weight yarn, preferably wool.

I am holding a Knit Day today, Sept. 1, 2010 at Charlotte's Bakery's new location. We will be there from 2:30 to 4:30 assuming she isn't so busy she needs our seats. If anything goes wonky we will be over at Starbucks in the Tower. You can call me at 559-425-6301 to double check. This is my new google voice number and it will be nice to try it out.

We have another Knit Day. I haven't knitted this much in years! This time is Saturday, August 28 at Whole Foods from 10am to 12noon. We might be inside or outside on the north side of the store. Look around for us.

Classes Soon

Yay! Classes are a go at Jewelart! I will have a full schedule for you soon. Classes will be taught at Twee Boutique, Jewelart and Dogz ‘n Catz. We are finally moving forward.

Knit Day tomorrow, Friday, August 27 from 2:30-4:30pm. It will probably go a little later as one person is showing up around 4:45. If anyone has the yarn for the Four Seasons Afghan, a couple of people will be working on it. Bring yours and we can get a class started.

I am heading over to Tower Starbucks to work on the class schedule at 3:30 today. Come by if you need help or company.

I will be there also on Monday, August 23 from 2-4pm, Wednesday, August 25 from 3-5pm and Friday August 27 from 2:30-4:30pm.
